Read what last year’s winners had to say:
“The first thought I had was “I can’t believe I got it”. The odds seemed to be against it. The next thought was I would never be able to provide this for myself. I am at a point in my life that called for a lot of changes and this scholarship was the first step in accomplishing new and needed income and confidence.”
— Mary Lakes, Chartered Tax Advisor Founder Scholarship Recipient
“Thank you for selecting me to receive the Chartered Tax Professional scholarship! I am so grateful and excited for what the future holds. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this excited. My husband handed me the envelope and my heart dropped. As I read the first line, ‘Congratulations…’ I started screaming and jumping up and down, I even started crying. Winning this scholarship is such a huge blessing. No longer do I have to wonder will someone give me a job. The Income Tax School is teaching me the skills to pay the bills! Thank you for this amazing opportunity!”
