2019 IRS Tax Forums

IRS Tax Forum

Early Bird Registration for the IRS Tax Forums ends Saturday, June 15th. Have you registered? The yearly IRS Tax Forums are a great way to get the latest tax industry information, rub elbows with IRS representatives, learn about the latest and greatest tax industry services and products at the expo, and earn up to 19 continuing education credits. Credits are available for enrolled agents, certified public accountants, Annual Filing Season Program participants, certified financial planners, and other tax professionals.

Seminars and workshops presented by experts from the IRS and partner organizations range from ethics and changes in tax law to dealing with disasters. The agenda includes six cybersecurity seminars and 11 involving tax reform topics, such as the Qualified Business Income deduction.

Have unresolved client cases? The IRS Forums gives tax professionals a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with IRS representatives in the Case Resolution Program. Visit the case resolution table on Monday before the forum begins to schedule an appointment, or go directly to the case resolution room during the event. To expedite appointment scheduling, bring an original Form 2848, Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative, and a completed Nationwide Tax Forum Case Data Sheet. Be sure to bring any supporting documents to Case Resolution to assist in expediting cases. The program is for client cases only.
